ARTICLE 2 – OBJECTIVES

“The objectives of the Local Union include:

  1. Providing democratic and effective control by it’s Membership;
  2. Improving wages, pensions and benefits, hours of work, employment security and working conditions through collective bargaining between the employees and employer;
  3. Insuring a safe and healthy work environment;
  4. Insuring fair treatment, dignity and respect at work;
  5. Insuring a workplace is free from discrimination and harassment;
  6. Organizing the unorganized.
