Section 1: Organization Title
This organization shall be known as UNIFOR, Local 456 (hereinafter referred to as the Local).
Section 2: Charter
This Local has been established and exists by virtue of the Charter issued to it by
UNIFOR (hereinafter referred to as the National Union).
Section 3: Jurisdiction
The jurisdiction shall embrace all workers as defined in Exhibit “A” of the Collective
Agreement and other related industries or establishments as decided in conformity with the
National Union Constitution under Article 5: MEMBERSHIP
Section 4: Constitution
The Constitution of this Local Union shall be the Constitution of the National Union, Unifor, and these By-Laws shall be in all respects subordinate to said Constitution and all applications and interpretations thereof.
