  1. Providing democratic and effective control by it’s Membership;<\/li>\n
  2. Improving wages, pensions and benefits, hours of work, employment security and working conditions through collective bargaining between the employees and employer;<\/li>\n
  3. Insuring a safe and healthy work environment;<\/li>\n
  4. Insuring fair treatment, dignity and respect at work;<\/li>\n
  5. Insuring a workplace is free from discrimination and harassment;<\/li>\n
