{"id":567,"date":"2022-10-04T19:50:32","date_gmt":"2022-10-05T02:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/?page_id=567"},"modified":"2025-08-20T17:38:34","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T00:38:34","slug":"dental-care-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/?page_id=567","title":{"rendered":"DENTAL CARE PLAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"boldgrid-section\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-xs-12 col-sm-12\">\n<p><strong>Section 1:\u00a0 Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(a) Diagnostic Services:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures to assist the dentist in evaluating the existing conditions to determine the required dental treatment, including:<\/p>\n<p>Oral Examinations<\/p>\n<p>Consultations<\/p>\n<p>X-Rays (Complete mouth X-Rays will be covered only once in a 3 year period)<\/p>\n<p><strong>(b) Preventive Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures to prevent the occur\u00adrence of oral disease, including:<\/p>\n<p>Cleaning and Scaling<\/p>\n<p>Topical Application of Fluoride<\/p>\n<p>Space Maintainers<\/p>\n<p><strong>(c) Surgical Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures for extractions and other surgical procedures normally performed by a dentist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(d) Restorative Services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures for filling teeth with amalgam, synthetic porcelain, composite, and stainless steel crowns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(e) Prosthetic Repairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures required to repair or reline fixed or removable appliances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(f)\u00a0 Endodontics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures required for pulpal therapy and root canal filling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(g) Periodontics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All necessary procedures for the treatment of tissues supporting for the teeth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(h) Prosthetic Appliances and Crown and Bridge Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(i)\u00a0 Crowns and bridges.<\/p>\n<p>(ii)\u00a0 Partial and\/or complete dentures but not more than once in five years.<\/p>\n<p>(iii) Cover 50% of the cost of implants to a maximum of $2,000.00<\/p>\n<p>Dentures lost, broken or stolen will not be replaced.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(i)\u00a0 Orthodontics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The services of a certified Orthodontist registered as such by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, only after the patient has been covered continuously for twelve months.\u00a0 Appliances lost, broken, or stolen will not be replaced.<\/p>\n<p>Maximum orthodontic benefit will be 50% coverage to a maximum of $5,000 per person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Section 2: \u00a0Co-Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In respect to benefits (a) to (g), the plan will provide reimbursement of 90% of eligible expenses.\u00a0 In respect to benefits (h) and (i), the plan will provide reimbursement of 50% of eligible expenses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Section 1:\u00a0 Benefits (a) Diagnostic Services: All necessary procedures to assist the dentist in evaluating the existing conditions to determine the required dental treatment, including: Oral Examinations Consultations X-Rays (Complete mouth X-Rays will be covered only once in a 3 year period) (b) Preventive Service All necessary procedures to prevent the occur\u00adrence of oral disease, [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-567","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/567","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=567"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/567\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":781,"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/567\/revisions\/781"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/unifor456.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=567"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
